Xiao X, an experienced business owner in China’s consumer electronics sector, has seen significant growth in his company over the past 20 years, supported by real estate investments. However, with challenges in 2024, Xiao began exploring relocating operations to Southeast Asia to optimize costs and access new markets.
EBS organized site visits to potential locations, and Xiao now plans to base some operations in Johor’s Special Economic Zone. EBS helped him open a company in both Malaysia and Singapore, apply for employment passes, select bankers, and brought on the right consultants to buy land and apply for permits. Xiao’s family will move to a large luxury apartment in Johor Baharu, where they will stay four months each year. His wife holds a long-term Malaysia My 2nd Home visa, and their children are dependents. During their time in Malaysia, they plan to travel the region and learn English.
Total Visa Expenditure: MYR1,500,000 investments + MYR70,000 fees.
